Weavit Integration
We integrated Weavit, which extracts email metadata and provides LinkedIn profile matches via with the Google Search API. This streamlined the data collection process and ensured the accuracy of the information.
Initial Approach: Manual Linking
Initially, users were tasked with the somewhat tedious job of pinpointing the correct person by selecting from a list of matched LinkedIn profiles. However, this method had its drawbacks. Firstly, it relied heavily on user input, which was not the most efficient process. Secondly, even with a matched profile, we were still missing out on the wealth of information that a comprehensive profile could provide.
To make a long story short, we needed a smoother, more effective way to showcase the external person’s profile without burdening users with unnecessary choices.
Improved Approach: Automated Profile Suggestion By Verifying The Data Through Triangulating Data Sources.
In our upgraded strategy, we harnessed the power of email metadata and LinkedIn matches from Weavit, seamlessly intertwining them with data from diverse sources. Picture this: it’s like crafting a symphony of information, where GPT-4 plays a vital role.
The result? A profile page that’s not just informative but rich in details about the external person. And here’s the cherry on top – we’ve ingeniously woven in insights about who within the firm is acquainted with them. It’s like turning a mere profile into a vibrant tapestry of connections and knowledge
